About the division
The Wildland Division provides organized, professional and realistic wildfire response in Liberty County. Squad 51 responds to wildland fires, coordinates suppression, protects structures and property, and assists other emergency services when needed.
Mission: protecting life, property and the environment through teamwork, professional conduct, realistic emergency response and following department procedures.
Squad 51 is semi-whitelisted. Applicants may be asked to complete an application, interview, orientation or practical evaluation, and new members may start on probation while they finish introductory training.
Requirements
- Rank of Firefighter 1 or higher
- Active member of the Fire Department in good standing
- Professional conduct and good roleplay
- Know and follow the Squad 51 SOP
- Willing to take part in training and evaluations
- Submit the division application
